“I knew zip about WordPress…and being non tech-savvy person I understandably came across several major challenges.

Tilden did a lot for me. Adding my WP site to my domain and from my local host server to my website domain hosts server, fixing various layout issues, adding several plug-ins I would never have thought of adding, solving shopping cart issues and adding PayPal etc. …On their own initiative, Tilden acted in a pro-active way to apply other changes such as designing and adding a logo.

“Tilden Tasks helped me enormously with my WordPress site. I was having trouble trying to clone and create subdomains linked to my main site. After spending hours of time researching and looking at help websites, I was told that because my main site was so huge I would have to reduce its size considerably to make it work. The idea of deleting so much of the work I had done seemed like a nightmare so eventually I realised that I needed professional help. I came across Tilden through a WordPress help site and although I was nervous paying a fee to a company I didn’t know anything about, it was my last resort and I decided that I had no other option. I asked Tilden to help and from the time I signed up with them, to the time my matter as resolved, I was made to feel that they were they with me, in constant communication, working hard to help me get my problem resolved.

It transpired that my cloning/subdomain issue was not a straightforward request as they kept running into the same problems that I had also encountered. They had to try several cloning methods before they finally made it work and I think they said that they had to rebuild the whole site which must have taken a great deal of manpower and time. They did far more than I initially asked them to do and instead of just cloning the site once, I ended up with a cloning tool on my WP site that I can use independently and I now have many subdomains which I am delighted with.

I would recommend Tilden to anyone as they were extremely prompt in their correspondence and at all times they were courteous and patient even when my issue was not easy to fix and it seemed as though it might not work. They persevered and worked on something that took a long time to resolve and they never asked me to increase my initial payment which to be honest was a tiny amount in relation to the work they did for me. It took time just because they tried so many times to resolve the issue and they tried many strategies to get to the the final solution. They shared their background knowledge so that I wasn’t just left with the finished product, but I also understood how they did it and so I now can fix my own problem autonomously, without having to keep calling them all the time.
